The Exercise Companion:
We are very excited at New American Dreamer to introduce to the world our latest product, the Exercise Companion. Since it is using a different concept and is a bit revolutionary we believe, I would like to write a short blog about it.
There is no disputing the fact that what we hear on a regular basis has an impact on our body and our beliefs, eventually creating our outer reality. Basically affirmations will always work given time, the challenge in guided meditation recording is finding the best backdoor for suggestions or affirmations to enter pleasantly and quickly.
While binary beats and progressive relaxation work very well and are positive ways to do this, on the other side of the coin, stress or aversion - (making a habit seem repulsive for instance) can also cause suggestions to be implanted.
This is one of the core reasons why when a patient is told by a doctor of a negative prognosis, such as he has cancer and only 1 year left to live, the patient will die exactly one year to the day of the doctor's predictions. The prognosis created the shock ad opened the door allowing the doctor's suggestion to be implanted immediately and strongly into the patient's subconscious.
Using aversion tactics is difficult though not only because it is unpleasant but that makes it less likely the client will stick with listening to the recording on a the regular basis needed to produce the desired results.
Further to this, another technique of the use of a small electrical impulse machine which given small shocks have been found very effective to implant suggestions as well, why? Because in this case, the body is also under stress and while preoccupied, suggestions implant easier while the guard is down. Also unpleasant, which is hard to stick with.
With the exercise companion, we are using this basis of stress but of the best kind, that of exercise to implant beliefs and create change for your body, rather than binary beats or progressive relaxation. While your body is under a gentle form of stress, a beneficial kind of stress, but stress none the less, the guided and positive suggestions that are contained in the Exercise companion, latch on more quickly and give you faster and stronger results.
